Though I don't read as many mysteries as I do some other genres, there are some mysteries that have particularly caught my attention. Let's get on with what they are though! (Actually, wait, hold up a sec! Like always, don't forget to check out Kate's post where you can find links to the other blogs participating and a fun giveaway that you probably won't want to miss! Even if for some reason unbeknownst to me you don't want to enter (unless you just don't like cute books and fall stuff, which in that case, it's a good reason you're here because maybe this blog party will help you discover the joy of it!), at least go over there and check out the graphic for it. I'm telling you, it's that cute! :P) Box Car Children
The Lost Girl of Astor Street
The Woodbreak Books
The Accidental Cases of Emily Abott
The Case of the Tabloid Tattler
And for the daily ebook deal! And I am telling you once again just in case you missed it that this one is great!! Book one is already free on Amazon, but today book two is also free, so make sure you go snag both of those if you haven't already! Have you read any of the books I mentioned? Do you have a favorite mystery book?

So seeing these books makes me realize I definitely don't read enough! Like my only genre I can recommend more than 2 books in is probably nonfiction. Its kind of inspiring to know that there are so many good mystery books out there!

Well, some people enjoy reading and some people enjoy, you know, Stacy Westfall podcasts or something. :P Non-fiction is an excellent genre though!

Well, you're welcome, but just know that Stephen is still just as good or better than Anna Wood. :P

I read a few Boxcar Children books and really would like to read more… I don’t know why I like them but I do lol. And I’ve always wanted to read The Lost Girl of Astor Street!! It looks so good. I’ve read some of the Woodbreak books too, and need to finish the series… and Emily Abbott is so good :D it’s been forever since I read Mia’s books but I remember I really liked them… Great list, Sophia!

I think we can all use a good children's book at least every now and then. ;) You should read the Lost Girl of Astor Street! It's definitely a page-turner!

I haven't read "The Lost Girl of Astor Street" but it looks super good, so I'm putting it on hold at the library. I've read all the other books you mentioned (well, not all the Boxcar children, but several) and some of the Kitten Files, though I didn't care for the Kitten Files series.

Once again we have another mention of Emily Abbott! :D (And I discovered that I actually haven't read the whole series this year, I read them all last October. No wonder I want to read them all again!)

Oh. Well, maybe the time between getting the cat to your brother or someone else would be long enough that you would see how lovely they really are! My cat would be an excellent candidate, though I'm afraid I'm not willing to sacrifice him. Maybe we should just bring a cat to TT sometime instead. :P

I read all of the Boxcar Children books and just loved them so much in my preteens/early teens, they were pretty much just the whole of a summer for me.

Aw, that's a neat memory. I remember reading sometimes being the whole of the summer for me when I was younger. <3

I grew up on Boxcar books and absolutely love them. 😍 Ahhh, both Perry series!!! I second the motion that you have to continue Kitten Files. Small spoiler, it's gets even more sarcastic when she meets a dog... 😉

Oh, now I'll probably be reading them! Whenever I can finish the few that I'm trying to get through right now, haha. And I started reading the second book, but I don't think I got far into the part where she met the dog. I'm all for more sarcastic though!
