Sophia Ellen is a teenage daughter of the King seeking to grow in her relationship with her Father and please and honor Him in everything she does. She is a homeschooled big sister to four and enjoys reading, writing her pen pals, talking with her family, drinking coffee, going on trails, practicing sign language and praying for the Deaf, and reveling in the latest novel/story she is writing. If she's honest, she also spends many hours of her time doing schoolwork but didn't think that was a particularly exciting activity to mention in that previous list. And since she also loves random facts about people, here are 13 about her!
|
- She has 3 sisters and 1 brother! She gets to share a room with all her sisters (though with how much her brother sleeps in their floor, you might would think he lived in there too!) and loves it!
- She loves to write long letters.
- She is an Abeka Academy video student (non-accredited).
- If she's not barefoot, you can probably find her wearing mismatched ankle socks, her favorite!
- She is learning American Sign Language (and really needs to practice!) and is excited to see what the Lord will do with her passion for the Deaf.
- She likes to make sourdough pizza for her family every Friday.
- She's an INFJ.
- She loves to write Christian historical fiction and Christian contemporary and hopes to be a self-published author one day.
- KitKats and Twix are probably her favorite chocolates, but since those are bad for her, she normally sticks with really dark Lindt chocolate.
- She lives in a military town and loves all things military and patriotic.
- She has a wonderful teen group that the Lord has given her an opportunity to grow with. She's growing closer to them and the Lord through them all the time and is loving watching the Lord work in all of their lives and bring revival to each of them as well as the church as a whole. He truly does great and mighty things that we know not when we simply call upon Him (and often when we don't!)!
- She's a morning person and is happiest waking up at 5:00, when the house is quiet and she can curl up with her coffee and her Bible.
- Her cat's, one of her first answers to prayer when she was younger, name is Patriot.
