For this category, I'm counting books that both me and at least one friend have enjoyed and been able to talk about together as a buddy-read, even if we didn't read them at the same time. :D Don't forget to head back to the host blog for links to the other blogs participating in the party: Blog – Once Upon An Ordinary (wordpress.com)! Every year at least 2 people recommend Emily Abbott. XD They’re that good.

*sighs* I've read all except the last one of this list. *thinks my TBR is sighing with relief too*

Lol! Sometimes it does feel a bit hard to add too many to your TBR list. Glad I could give you some relief. ;P

Emily Abbott is definitely a favorite! I once read (most of) The Scarlet Letter for school, and I did not enjoy it.

Emily Abott is well-loved. :D And I think the fact that the copy I had had definitions and things and that I had a teacher on video to explain some things contributed to my enjoying The Scarlet Letter.

Oh, I loved Silas Marner! I read it for school as well (and also The Scarlet Letter, which ... ahem, I didn't like so well), but the characters were so sweet. Gruff hermit-like men always capture my heart.

Another person who is not too much of a fan of The Scarlet Letter, haha. That's interesting.

Yay for EA! ;) And I listened to an audio drama of Silas Marner years ago and really enjoyed.

I don't know that I've ever thought of listening to Silas Marner on audio. That could be fun though!

I did Abeka videos too, had Mrs. Thompson, and loved Silas Marner! She had a way of making you love it😁 Also did The Scarlet Letter but I didn't like it at all. Mrs. Schmuck was my teacher for that and she was one of my favorite teachers, but I just couldn't get into that book🙈

Aw, it's fun to hear of someone else who had Mrs. Thompson! I think she definitely helped shape the way I look at literature. <3 And I think she could make you love almost anything if she did. :P
