Today, as you've probably noticed, we're taking a look at our top five books discovered at the library! Facing the Giants

Ahhh, I adore the Rose in Bloom series and the AOGG series… and the Swiss Family Robinson! It’s awesome meeting old friends in FFF posts :D I’ve heard of Facing the Giants and I think I’d like the book and film! And the 5 Love Languages looks very useful. I remember when I first realized people actually gave gifts as a love language… XD let’s say me and my childhood bestie had some issues figuring out love languages haha!!

Neat! I actually haven't read any of the rest of the Rose in Bloom series besides the first one, but I've been thinking about reading the rest! Maybe I'll get on that soon. ;)

So I love The 5 Love Languages book that I've read! I've never read the one for teens, but I think it would be a book I could definitely learn from. I found a 5 Love Languages Military Edition and that was awesome, anyone facing deployment or even just long work hours away from each in the service, I recommend it.

I've thought that the military edition actually would be an interesting one to read too, even if just to have more of an understanding of how that feels and works. :D

That's fun that we both read them the same way! The library seems like a good place to find classic books.

The Swiss Family Robinson and Eight Cousins were books I loved in my childhood. I've also read Anne of Windy Poplars (also from the library). The other two I haven't read.

I enjoyed Swiss Family Robinson a lot when I read it! It definitely exercises your reading muscles though, especially for ten or twelve year old me or however old I was when I read it. And I've heard the Librivox audiobook of Eight Cousins several times and always enjoy re-hearing it! Enjoyed your post, CeeCee!

Swiss Family Robinson definitely exercised my reading muscles too, and I was a few years older than you were.
